Class of 84/89

Thursday, January 17, 2013

Dear Dr,
We trust you are doing well.

We are a coalition of Malaysian Medical Practitioners with the umbrella name of MPCAM (Medical Practitioners Coalition Association of Malaysia).

We wish to bring to your attention that the Medical Practitioners especially the SOLO and Group Practice GPs are faced with many uncertainties of late and one of the most pressing issues are the SEPARATION OF DISPENSING (drugs and medicine).

We believe that you also realized that GPs does not have a predetermine fee to patient for professional consultations and have been balancing their services with profit from dispensing.

Removing dispensing rights will spell doomsday for the livelihood of many GPs in Malaysia.

As a result of the latest ‘PUSH’ by many governmental departments and policy makers, We, the stakeholders wants to highlight this matter to the concerned parties that we are objecting to this new policy without a consultation.

The Pharma companies have all along been ally to the GPs and we hope that they can support us too.
You can support us by helping in one or all of the followings:

1. Printing out to pass to the medical reps who frequented you (ask them to pass along to other clinics)
2. Email to your medical colleagues (FWD this email)
3. Personally visit your neighborhood clinics...someone so near yet you have not met before. They will be surprise when you GIVE them a copy telling them what is going on.

Note: The SAY NO to SEPARATING DISPENSING RIGHT CAMPAIGN started on 07 Jan 2013. (Till date we have received 200 letters faxed in…MORE TO COME)
Think of how this can affect you or your family’s future. Have a nice day.

RED ALERT! Chong Yuen's email account hacked!

Hi all,

I just received a phone call from Wong Chong Yuen.

Apparently his email account has been stolen by a hacker, and the hacker is sending out emails to everyone in his contact list asking them to send him some emergency money, purportedly because he is stranded somewhere in Europe.

PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO THAT REQUEST.

Please ignore any requests coming from Chong Yuen's email. IT IS NOT FROM CHONG YUEN, but from the hacker.

Yasmin has over 300 photos of the reunion, ready to be uploaded. I've suggested that she uploaded them to her Facebook account too as it would be very tedious to upload them to this blog. However, we can select a few nice ones to be uploaded here.
